Lottery advertising every where we go, billboard, Supermarkets, Gas stations, Retail stores, TV stations. It is Amazing How the Lottery people came out whit this numbers, (Tell me that is not a big Scam) what about the Scratch off tickets started a few years ago with $1.00 ticket, and their up to $20.00, and the latest one, is Florida Lottery gives Free gas for life. (My friend you better fill up you tank out of your own pocket, or you never to get anywhere with that promise) and what bothers me the most is how they brainwash everyone with the advertising. We even have Vending’ Machine and the reason for it is because the person inside Costumer service on every Food store chain can’t keep up with sales. Big numbers sounds good, when we see the billboard Millions of $$$$ on the jackpot, and the sad part of it is their not telling us the truth, that is only an Estimated number. I do my grocery shopping on Saturdays, and it’s so Sad seeing all theses Elderly Folks dropping the last Dollar on their pocket for Lottery, in my opinion, our social security Income is considered a Low Class Income unfortunately that is one of the reason why we spend our last buck in our pockets. What about the False advertising that we all see everywhere, Lottery Support Education hahahaha, in the pass few years the state of Florida had to close few school because their where under the Budget. Here is another tip for all of us, not only are they not telling us the truth about the jackpot, they also do not let you know at the last minute that you have no choice but to pay 30% TAXES in one lump sum, plus Uncle Sam want his share of the Remain every year. And worst yet if you decide to take on 20 YEARS payments, get ready is about 50% TAXES. I notice few times when I was on line to buy a ticket, some tourist made a comment about their Lottery system in their country, there is no taxes when you win. (We should be allowed to have the same system). Searching on the Internet, I found out that one of the CEO of some Lottery in our Country, receive a Check for over $143,000 for a years Salary that was including transportation and bonus. I bet you any kind of money that He or She doesn’t even buy a single Lotto Ticket.
