I am not an economist, nor a Financial adviser, but just a person, like you, with the need to fix, improve my finances. We get bombarded with credit card deals, shopping spree, with the need to spend money in order to help the economy and to create jobs. You and me are the only ones, according to the business industry, who should sacrifice and spend like crazy so that we get out of this recession. But once we apply for those credit cards and go shopping for things we do not need nor we use, we get laid off and are unable to pay off those credit cards debts. Easy to get but difficult to get out of! Let me start with jobs; because of our taxation system, the majority of the companies that were creating jobs here in the US had to leave this great nation to get a tax relief and be able to make money. They ended up in China, a communist country, where they were offered a more reasonable tax in return to create jobs for the Chinese people. Who cares more for its people? We go to stores here and all the merchandise was made in China and we suppose to buy it, even if we do not have a job. How in the world do they think that’s possible? Our government is at fault for pushing those companies to go to other countries to create jobs. We are left without the means to work and make money and improve our finances. Can we do something about this? I am not sure, but if we do not complaint or better yet, if we do not take interest in voting, we will be in a worst financial situation. Only a few will survive and do extremely well. We Americans want things cheap and do not care where or how it was made, so the companies cannot make it paying high salaries and then selling cheap merchandise. Let’s put ourselves in this situation and think if we would be able to pay high and sell for less. But on the other hand, we are willing to pay for a Football ticket $100′s of dollars to see a game, pay for a movie ticket to see a movie, no matter how pricey they are, and do not understand that we are making a few richer and we are getting poorer. I have nothing against rich people, on the contrary, I admire them for their tenacity and discipline that made them into what they are, successful. We need to learn from them and stop allowing the system to brain wash us and wake up. We used to be a consumer society, but we used to make everything here, now we cannot go back to those days unless something drastic happens. We all have to take responsibility and start saving the little we have. My financial strategy is: save at least 15% of my paycheck, I am not going to buy unnecessary things, game tickets, movie tickets, Dvd’s, music Cd’s, I think those game player, movie actors and actresses are making extremely too much money for what they do. There needs to be a balance in the salary and I am not going to contribute to help them become so rich that they do not know what to do with their money. I need my money to survive and I intend to follow my strategy to the word. If I do all this and save money, I will not have the need to ask for  salary increases unless I deserve it, so the company is not forced to raise prices and in return high inflation.

In conclusion, I want to improve my finances and create the wealth I need to survive and for such determination, there is a need for drastic changes.
